The Old Tack Room has been created from a former tack room (unsurprisingly!) which adjoins the owner's house, and is now a delightful single storey holiday retreat.
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the grounds of their equestrian enterprise in the peaceful village of Ibberton, this charming holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to an excellent standard, with beautiful views towards Bulbarrow Hill to the rear, which is one of Dorset's highest points. The accommodation includes two bedrooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining, and sitting area, and patio doors which open out on to the pretty and private garden. The scenic Ridgeway Trail passes close to the cottage, and a short meander will take you to the local pub which serves great food and real ales.

Oil central heating. Electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine (in cloakroom), TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi, library of books and games. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Drying cupboard. Two well-behaved dogs welcome at £15 per dog, per week. Paddocks and stables available for visitors' horses at £10 per horse, per day by prior arrangement with owner. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 5 mins walk. |

Inland on your holiday in Dorset you can enjoy the rolling hills that are so characteristic of the county and explore what has become known as “Thomas Hardy Country”.
The county town of Dorchester, with its High Street lined with 17th and 18th Century houses, is little changed from Hardy’s day, while the pretty town of Shaftesbury has been used as a location in countless films set in Olde England.
